Rak Thai

A Thai restaurant located at The Gardens Midvalley.

Lime with mint leaves.

Refreshing drink, I love the combination.

Clear tom yam soup with mihun.

Was astonished at first when they served it. It doesn't look like those normal tom yam, but its delicious.

Lemongrass Chicken Barbeque.

This is tasty as well.

The food here is decent, reasonably priced. A satisfying meal. :)

Oh and the instant tom yam noodle they sell here tastes awesome too. Remind me to buy that the next time we go there kay Miss Jade? Haha.

Random Mix

Roxy and Quiksilver sales for three days, first item 25% and second 50% off. It was quite long time ago, so don't go there expecting sales now yeah. Lol. Anyway, the discount is only available for members (Miss Jade, not me). We went there on the first day and bought a lot of things, most of them are not for me though. Haha. I bought only the flops, half price. And the white wallet's mine too. :D

We had lunch at this little korean shop called Ko Hyang. They don't have much variety in their menu, but the food's not bad. I'm gonna try their kimchi soup next time. ;)

We had Bibimbap, which is mixed rice, served in a stone pot.

Its nice. :)

The shop beside is 老油鬼鬼. I think both shops are owned by the same person.

Anyway, we came here some time ago.

The porridge's better than expected. You tiao was nice too, but it was not really warm when served. It'll be nicer if its served fresh.

Watched  this movie recently - The A-Team. 

Action packed, fun, and never boring. Definitely a movie worth watching if you like actions and adventures. ;)

Faraway

It’s a stormy night here, it rained whole day and it’s still raining now. I’m settling down with a cup of hot coffee and one of my favourite novel – P.s. I Love You.

Friends and family came and went; sometimes helping her with her tears, other times making her laugh. But even in her laughter there was something missing. She never seemed to be truly happy; she just seemed to be passing time till she waited for something else. She was tired of just existing; she wanted to live. But what was the point in living when there was no life in it.

I was at this paragraph, rereading it again and again, deeply in thought. I’m sure there are times when we will feel like that. But somehow we’ll get through it, somehow. And life goes on..
Anyway, if you’re ever stuck in that situation, be positive and I’m sure you'll find your way. ;)

Ole Ole Bali

It was during one of those ordinary days when Jade and I were 'leisuring' at Pyramid and didn't know what to get for lunch. When we were just going to settle with Jusco's food then the idea striked us - Ole Ole Bali. Just an impulse and so there we went. And fyi its a Balinese restaurant. :)

The place where we sat. I don't like the thing hanging on top. Its feels creepy, like those 'bomoh' kinda thing. (I know I'm exaggerating.)

Moreover they play the very weird kind of music, its like traditional flutes, with bird chirpings and mantras. I guess they're trying to give the Balinese feel to it, but I don't really like it. Other than that, the place's really nice, relaxing environment. It'll be nice to come here for a drink or two at night. ;)

Its not just Balinese cuisines in the menu. They serve western food too.

Mine was passion fruit soda, and hers was barley with lime. Hers was really nice, a different taste to barley drink when added with lime. And its really cheap. :)

Ordered Nasi Campur. The portion is quite huge for one person so we shared.

Combination of grilled lemongrass prawns, squid, fish, chicken, sate lilit, kangkong, rice and sambal.

Orgasmic. :)

You see, this is why I confused this with the place that you went, Miss Ong. See the resemblence? ;)

Anyway, some people happily took one of the flowers and decorated herself. Haha. (You better thank me for not posting up the photo. :P)

Its a really nice place, the food are awesome, including the drinks. The environment's nice, minus the music and the white cloth thingy. Anyway, the next time I come will be at night. Dinner, with candles and comfy cushions, with beer too perhaps? It'll be a cool place to hang-out. ;)

A Break

I had my last paper today!

I was quite miserable, cause I think I did badly in F7 and F9. :(

But lets put that aside for now.

I'm officially on holiday, after so longgg.

I ain't superwoman.

I don't know what is going on with my life now, a lot of things happened. They ain't happy ones. I can't get a grip on myself, can't seem to clear my head. Its like voices shouting inside and demanding my attention.
Exam's starting on Wednesday. What about it? I can't sit down and concentrate on my notes. At the end of the day, I don't know what I did, just know that I'm never studying. So I might just flung my exam eh?

Nothing can be done, I'm feeling so hopeless.

Sigh.

In the end, I gave in.

Its heart-warming to know that things are much better for you now. I'm sure you'll be fine. :)

Frustration

Heaven and Earth

How can you ever know the world beneath, if you're the bird that flew the skies, and I'm the blind little worm which crawled the earth?

The bird, having the sky to tend to, has shows to perform. Although it resents wearing the mask of feathers, it enjoys flying in the sky; The worm, always dreaming of flying and seeing the colourful world from the eyes of a bird, resents its life in the darkness. But at the same time, likes being solitary underground.

Having said that, how can the worm ever comprehend the complicated life of a bird's?

Now you're luring me out of the worm hole. So are you bringing me up in the sky, or are you going to eat me up?

After EDC

Its in the weekends when we went to IOI mall. Padini was having sale there, price cut for more than 50% and some more than that. I bought t-shirts for my sister(s), RM25 each. Cheap. As expected, it was crammed up with people, typical Malaysians eh? Haha. The thing is, I found out later that the Padini store in Pyramid is having sale too, and they're having the same price cut, minus the stuffy environment and the raging crowd. FML.

Before that, went to try out this Adidas top, costs RM120. Who look nicer in that tee hm? ;)

Nope didn't buy it, we were both poor people. Haha.

Anyway, we had our dinner at Kenny Roger's. Guess why, cause its a healthier choice. Lol. Somebody had been talking about getting healthy lately, and I'm just not accustomed to that. Sorry Jade, hahaha. :P

Ordered the quarter chicken with sideline, black pepper sauce. It comes with a home made muffin too. Its tasty. :)

We were quite lucky that day, got one sideline extra for free. Thanks to that dumb waitress. Hahaha. :P

I just love the potato salad. Yummy.

Dinner was fun.
