As of now, I'm in my last sem at Sunway University(its a university now) already. Taking 2 papers, P6(advanced taxation) and P7(advance audit and assurance). How time flies huh.
Oh yeah, came back to report on my newly acquired phone, got it in November last year. Turning me into quite a phone geek now. Lol. (blame the smartphones.. :P)
Okay I'm gonna start talking about phones here, so just ignore it if it doesn't interest you. ;)
HTC Wildfire.
Gotten myself a deal at RM 1199, with 2 years warranty, free 8 GB external memory card and a bluetooth headset. :)
Running on Android 2.2 platform.
(a phone operating system manufactured by Google)
You see, 3 months ago, I have no idea at all what Android is, and HTC phones? No clue at all. Funny how I've gotten myself a HTC Android phone then. Haha.
Among my considerations are,
Sony Ericsson's Xperia X8.
Also running on Android platform, but its on 2.1 version.
Which I didn't choose because of its poor camera functionality and SE's inexperience in manufacturing android phones. The device having a plastic feel to it, feels cheap and yeah, their phones' market price drops rather alarmingly in a short period of time. Aha, its proven now, it was RM1300 then, and it dropped to around RM800 now. Lol.
BlackBerry Bold 9700.
BlackBerry phones are famous for their social networking experience. Its 'BBM' function, an instant messenger, capable of sending texts, pictures, video, music files to anyone that's using a BB at any parts of the world for free. Now that's the bomb there, but, I don't have much friends using a BB, and this phone is pricey for me. (RM1600) Having a QWERTY keyboard will be nice though. ;)
There're new ones out in the market now, the BB Torch, and BB Bold 9780. Check it out if you're interested! :)
Nokia N97 mini.
Running on Symbian operating system. (Nokia's)
Sleek looking phone huh. Dad had been urging me to buy this one. The price was around RM1200. And I didn't choose this because its quite an old phone, running on the old Symbian os makes it laggy, and I didn't like the user interface. I never liked Nokia phones. Lol.
Samsung Galaxy 5.
Running on Android 2.1 platform.
Its price is relatively cheap as compared to the other phones, around RM800, having slightly lower spec than the HTC Wildfire. In fact, its very cheap, which makes me doubt on its quality and performance. Having no confidence on Samsung phones made me abandon this.
But of course, its a budget smartphone. A phone you should consider if you're limited by $.

Okayy, HTC Wildfire it is. Googling and reading reviews had been giving me a bad headache. But yeah, paid off in the end. :)
I might do a review on the phone later on, been exploring the Android features and of course, its market of apps and games too. :D
