Source Code.
Centered on a soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown man who later discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train.
Well obviously the train was bombed, everyone died. And this soldier was to relive through the last 8 minutes of a dead man's memory to find out the bomber, with the help of a programme named Source Code. And when he failed, he'd be sent back again, for 8 minutes, using trial and error basis. Somewhere along the way, he fell for a girl in the train and . . .
This is not a story about time-travelling nor changing the past. This soldier was in a mission to find out who's the bomber and to prevent future bombings.
Overall, this movie has a good idea on its plot. Good story. Keeps me thinking. But the ending does not really make sense, which, is a disappointment to me. Anyways, its worth a watch. Keeps you on the verge of your seat throughout the whole movie. Haha. ;)
Limitless
What would you do, if you have a pill that can let your brain operate at 100% capacity?
Well, this movie is basically about that pill, a top-secret drug, and this man, Eddie. On the assumption that we only use 20% of your brain capacity, that pill, as the movie title whould've hinted, will unlock your mind, making everything limitless. Sounds cool huh?
Ever imagined yourself to be super-smart? Being a perfect version of yourself?
This guy was a writer who seemed to be unsuccessful, poor, having the haggard appearance at the beginning of the movie. He then stumbled upon the pill, and you can guess the rest. Climbing to the top, only to realise certain dark side of things. . .
Again, the ending sucks. I hate it when they put off a stupid ending for a good story. Ahh and the leading actor, Bradley Cooper is really good looking. Nice effects in the movie as well. Another movie worth a watch. :)
I guess Sci-Fi thrillers are my thing eh? Hahh.
